AR vs AK
Welcome to The Firearms Creed, today's topic will be AR vs AK. This is probably one of the biggest debates in the gun community. Is the reliability of the AR platform as reliable as the AK platform? I definitely think it all comes back around to the quality of gun you are getting, of course both of these guns are famously reliable and the most popular platforms in the world but with the fame comes the cheap knockoffs. I’m not knocking any companies making cheap good quality guns but there are plenty of companies that make cheap guns with not-so-great quality control. So regardless of whatever platform you do go with the most important things is going with a reliable battle tested and proven brand. Both of these platforms have been used by various militaries across the world and both have proven themselves by taking these different environments head on with little to no issues. Both of these platforms have also been chambered in various calibers over the years making them both very versatile.
There’s plenty of reasons to have either one as your weapon of choice, the notorious reliability of the AK or the almost perfect ergonomics of the AR. So, all it really comes down to is what is manual of arms you prefer? These platforms both have the best aftermarket support out of most guns available today, and you cannot go wrong with either one. And I think the answer to this argument is to train with the platform you prefer and to buy quality tested products. if you can afford to, buy both and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for spending your time here and please share with us what platform you choose and why. We will see you next time!
